DESIGN MOTIVATION
Problem identification: College students who live in dorms may have a hard time using the different types of washing machines available in public laundry rooms. Some machines may be newer or have different settings than what they are used to, resulting in confusion and mistakes.
Solution: It is equipped with washing machine photo identification, brand description, usage tutorials, etc., to help international students use different types of washing machines.
By developing this app, we hope to make the laundry experience more convenient and stress-free for college students living in dorms. Students can avoid mistakes and save time with step-by-step instructions on using different machines and notifications when cycles are complete. Additionally, real-time information on machine availability can reduce wait times and frustration, while tips on maintaining hygiene and cleanliness can ease concerns and promote healthier laundry practices. Our app aims to empower college students living in dorms to take control of their laundry needs and achieve a cleaner, easier, and more efficient laundry experience.
